 Adult Acne Cures Blackhead Cure
Interview : Michael Bay

I know my colleagues are going to have Transformers'' questions, but I wanted to know your reaction to 'Hot Fuzz' which was so inspired by 'Bad Boys 2', and that you said that you were offered 'Die Hard 4' and I was wondering if this hadn't come together would you have considered doing that?

MB: Die Hard 4, no, I don't think so. Hot Fuzz, I haven't seen it yet, because I was finishing this movie. It's really hard, the end of your post schedule is such a grind, seeing a movie is like the last thing you want to do when you go home. I thought this would be an easy post, on our budget we had a hiatus scheduled in here, because I said, "Oh, my God, I have the longest post schedule," I didn't think the robots would be that hard, but I was directing them all the way to the very end.

June 2006

Read this story about Amy's little angel in this week's Upper Cape Codder

Tragedy strikes family a second time By Robert Slager/ rslager@cnc.com A little angel has been whispering into Amy Johnson's ear every day since June 7. The voice of her little sister Kristen, forever frozen in time, is pleading with her to fight a little bit longer. "I know it's true," said Carol Henderson of Wareham, who lost one daughter to a car accident a decade ago and may now lose another. "Amy has injuries that you and I could not have survived." Amy Johnson, who moved from Wareham to Bridgewater just a few weeks ago, lost control of her car in the early morning and slammed into a tree near Exit 2 on I-495, suffering massive internal injuries. She remains in a coma in the intensive care unit of Brigham and Woman's Hospital.

Senate Poised to Capitulate to Cheney’s Fear-Mongering

Although Cheney touted these companies as patriotic partners in the administration's "war on terror," they are breaking several U.S. laws, including FISA itself, Title III, the Communications Act, and the Stored Communications Act, as well as the First and Fourth Amendments to the Constitution. Indeed, as the Electronic Frontier Foundation put it, "the real heroes are the companies that refused to help [the administration], like Verizon Wireless" and Quest Communications.

Cheney quoted Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who described the need for these companies to defend against litigation as "an enormous burden." What he really meant is that defending the roughly 40 pending lawsuits is cutting into their enormous profits.

The House of Representatives passed a bill without immunity for the telecoms.

Bush signs stimulus package

My guess is that that of the $110 billion to $120 billion of tax rebates, about half will go to U.S. products and services," said David Wyss, chief economist for Standard & Poor's.

There are also questions about whether the stimulus will actually be the key to ending or preventing a recession.

Even many of those who believe the U.S. is already in a recession are forecasting that the economy is poised to pull out of the recession in the second half of this year -- regardless of the stimulus package -- thanks to several big interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve since last September.

"I don't think this is too little, but it might be too late," said Jeoff Hall, the chief U.S. economist for Thomson Financial. "By the time you get the intended effect, you may not need anything."

Other economists believe the economy is falling into a much more severe recession than can be turned around by this type of tax cut.

Food Industry 1991-2000

According to some data, the food industry accounts for up to 60% of all direct foreign investments made in Russia after the crisis. This is not surprising, since market capacity, and hence food production, is growing steadily. Today, the domestic food industry is growing by 5-7% annually; in some sectors, this figure is 15-20%. In addition, the investment cycle of an average food-industry project is one and a half times shorter than for similar-sized investments in any other industry. Finally, food production (except for vodka) is not as politicized as the gas or oil industries. The result is the successful operation of tens of thousands of Russian and Western companies in their combined efforts to feed Russia.
