Big Pharma is so crazy about selling dangerous drugs to the public that if the virus depicted in the film actually existed, I can definitely see Merck launching it as a "miracle weight loss drug!" Notice that none of the beasts in the movie are fat?

In this drug trial, which tested an experimental arthritis drug on volunteer patients, things went terribly wrong: After being injected with the anti-inflammatory drug TGN1412, patients began tearing their shirts off, screaming that their heads were going to explode.

Senior Taliban Figure Caught in Pakistan
Dadullah is the latest in a series of high-ranking Taliban militants to have been killed or captured either side of the border in the past year or so.
Pakistan, a key U.S. ally in the war on terrorism, concedes Taliban militants are active on its soil but has denied Omar and other militia leaders use Pakistan as a base of operations.
The violence in the country has often targeted politicians.
In Monday's suicide atttack, Khan, the candidate for parliament supported by the Awami National Party, was campaigning in North Waziristan when he was wounded and his supporters were killed, authorities said.

Product innovation continues to drive Croda’s business
MILL HALL — As Croda International grows, the head of their North American operations says product innovation will continue to be a key driver for their business. Kevin Gallagher, president of Croda, Inc., the division that oversees the company's Mill Hall manufacturing facility and other North American operations, spoke recently to members of the local plant's Community Advisory Council. Gallagher said the past year-and-a-half has been a time of change for the company with the acquisition of Uniqema, a firm based in the United Kingdom which manufactures products similar to Croda but which has strengths in different markets. “The acquisition of Uniqema has more than doubled the size of Croda International," said Gallagher. “And it has strengthened our position as a manufacturer of specialty chemicals for the cosmetics, toiletries, homecare, healthcare and pharmaceutical, plastics, food and industrial specialty markets.
